I've got the flag, RUN!

Snow yes!

Well I have returned from my week long trip to Keystone, Colorado; and let me tell you it was a blast. The first 2 days we were there it was 10 below with a visibility of less than 20 yards up on the slopes. For those 2 days I snowboarded and got to test out my cool new helmet headphone inserts. I can safely say the Zune can withstand subzero temperatures and high speed falls. Good job Microsoft, you built a sturdy gadget! After that we took a break for 2 days and went snowmobiling, tubing, and ice skating on Saturday and Sunday. Snowmobiling was crazy fun, the machines topped out at 50 mph. Then the last 2 days we hit the mountains again this time skiing- with slightly warmer temperatures I might add, at an average of 36 degrees during the day.

It was a great trip, but I'm glad to be back in sunny South Florida.

Crackdown, what?

Well as a last minute decision I decided to use my budgeted money to buy Rainbow Six: Vegas instead of Crackdown. With car payments and insurance bills I don't like to throw a lot of money around, so I was going to buy one or the other. I definately feel I made the right choice. I wasn't going to make my purchase based on a Halo 3 Beta invite (since the beta is sure to have lag/bugs), I went off of which game will bring me the longest use. After playing the Crackdown demo for a LONG time it became repetetive; although it was a demo, there is only so much more the actual game could do before it too became repetetive. I've read reviews from various magazines, aswell as posts on xbox.com and it seems my logic was correct, although many people out there do enjoy the game which is good!

I've been creating my online operative and ranking up, and I can safely say...I will be playing Vegas for a while. It's very addicting. Online is great, so many gametypes and maps, and the graphics are excellent aswell. I also can't forget about the huge update on the way too.

24, O yeah! and a Happy V-Day

First, Happy V-Day! Hope you had a good one, I know I did. Now to the body of this entry...

Well the new season is holding up the legendary 24 name. Nuclear device detonated in L.A., Jack's family involved in a conspiracy, what's next? This season hasn't slowed down a bit and I'm lovin' it. The last 2 hour episode started with Morris being tortured until he configured a device capable of arming the remaining bombs- I might add it was rather painful to watch, how would you like being drilled through the shoulder? Well Morris apparently couldn't bite the bullet and made the device. Fayad realized Jack was coming and armed a bomb to slow CTU forces while he escaped. Now he has the ability to easily arm 3 bombs anywhere he wants- great job Morris. The rest of the episode led to Jack's father taking his own grandson hostage and trying to kill Jack- fatherly love, eh?

In other news I love my Zune and listen to it everyday in the car using the radio tuner. This thing is amazing, watching video on it is so crisp. Still have yet to even come close to filling this thing up, nor do I think I ever will. Can't wait for upgrades to come out! Maybe some games?
